Gary Cushing is owner and principal of Sandlin Cushing Insurance, Cushing Public Affairs and GSMC, Inc., which operates Marie Calendar’s Pie Shops. He is active in the Ventura County community, serving on numerous boards, including the innovative Architecture Construction and Engineering (ACE) Charter High School and the Camarillo Boys and Girls Club. He served seven years as president and CEO of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce and presently serves on the Business Advocacy Committee of the Oxnard Chamber. Cushing earned a bachelor’s in political science from California State University, Channel Islands and a master’s in public policy and administration from California Lutheran University. |
